September 2010

Our spring sales in Sarasota and Manatee Counties were a great success! Thanks to everyone who made it to one or both of our sales.

This month we will be having a traditional auction for the Sarasota Country School Board at the usual Myrtle Warehouse location.

Also this month we will be auctioning a few items online for the School Board of Manatee County. First up will be 3 large tanks used by fleet maintenance for new oil, waste oil and coolant. We will also be listing 2 diesel generators, one large enough to run an entire building that was barely used before being upgraded. There is also a large packing line, previously used by Tropicana. Lastly there will be a small printing press. Watch for details on these online auctions coming soon!

December 2009

We had another great sale in Sarasota! A special thanks to all who attended. We were expecting a smaller crowd and we really appreciate everyone's patience while we worked out the bugs you face when the crowd is double what you expected. We've taken notes and will be better prepared should we be blessed with such a "problem" in the future :-)

November 2009

We had another great sale in Gainesville in October, and are gearing up for another great Sarasota Schools sale on December 12th. This time we'll have 10 buses, 11 fleet vehicles as well as an all-terrain forklift. Also look for the normal assortment of surplus, including outdoor/landscaping equipment, a few musical instruments, a/v, emt/medical and tons of classroom and office furniture. We may be adding some computer equipment as well, so be sure to check the site the week of the auction for last-minute additions.

March 2009

We're back in Sarasota at the end of the month for another School Board of Sarasota County auction on Saturday, March 28th! We'll be updating the site with more pictures and the auction catalog a day or two before the auction.

October 2008

November starts off with a bang with two great auctions on the 1st and 8th! School District of Alachua County in Gainesville is up first with the normal Alachua selection of buses, vehicles and surplus. We'll be heading straight for Bradenton after Gaineville to get ready for the following Saturday's auction- our biggest of the year with over a dozen great buses and over two dozen great vehicles, many with low mileage! Also in Bradenton will be a great selection of commercial food service equipment, floor machines and misc shop equipment and surplus. Don't miss these two great auctions!

First off, we would like to wish everyone a happy and healthy New Year! Holzman Auctioneers is pleased to announce that Glen Copeland will be joining our company as Director of Marketing.

Glen brings with him experience in Internet marketing, advertising and sales as well as knowledge of much of the machinery and electronics we regularly feature at our auctions. When not helping out at our auctions, Glen will be concentrating his efforts on managing the everyday details of Holzman Auctioneers and developing our online presence at the new HolzmanAuctioneers.com.

Glen’s efforts will allow Mike the time needed to expand Holzman Auctioneers in the Southeast and Central parts of Florida so we can bring you more quality government, school board and business surplus and liquidation auctions.

David will be focusing his attention on David D'Amico Auctions & Appraisals; many of you are already familiar with his liquidation auctions and appraisals of new car dealerships throughout the United States.

We remain committed to providing honest value for our clients, great deals for our buyers, and a pleasant auction experience for everyone involved. Schedules, terms and policies will remain the same; the only changes on the horizon are improvements to our flyers and catalogs, a new web site and a busier calendar. We also look to you for comments or suggestions for any improvements you’d like to see.
